Services

Scale model making is not only a very enjoyable hobby but especially during the past couple of years with the COVID pandemic, it is also another avenue to explore to help with your mental health - which is tremendously important considering what we've all been through.

The models I have built for myself and customers are based on a pre-existing model, either a commercially available kit or a 3D model created on the computer. Once assembled, lighting has been installed (when requested), painted and decaled, you'd be surprised just how realistic these can be. The model makers of the Star Wars and Star Trek films did exactly what I am doing now, albeit in the 1970's and 80's.

It all starts with an idea, so if you have a model in mind for yourself, friend or loved one, then get in touch and let's see what we can accomplish together.

Static Model

Based on a traditional model kit, made from either styrene or resin, the end result will be painted and decaled to a very high standard.

Model with interior lighting

Go one step further with your model by adding interior lighting so bring your model to life.

3D Print - Filament

Printed on my Ender 3 Pro, this printer uses plastic heated to a high temperature to build up a model, prop or display piece in layers. Can be provided to you in pieces, assembled or fully painted.

3D Print - Resin

Liquid resin is used to build up a model in layers, up to 10X the resolution of a filament printer. Also used for smaller, more highly detailed parts of a scale model.
